Of the 33 mowers sold in the US: 25 fit, 3 are tight and 5 do not fit.
Closest fit first: the smallest limit that still covers the rating your lawn needs, then the lower price, then the larger slope margin.

Sizing for a quarter acre
A quarter acre is 10,890 sq ft (1,012 m²). A mower rated for exactly that covers the lawn but not the margin for its shape, so the sizer calls it tight. For this lawn that means 13,068 sq ft (1,214 m²) on one open shape, 14,702 sq ft (1,366 m²) with some beds and trees, and 16,335 sq ft (1,518 m²) for a complex layout. A mower allowed to run in daytime only needs 1.5 times as much again: 22,052 sq ft (2,049 m²) for a typical shape.
Watch the basis of each rating. A model recommended for a quarter acre gets a limit of 1.2 times its rating in the sizer, about 13,068 sq ft (1,214 m²). That still falls short of the 14,702 sq ft (1,366 m²) a typical quarter acre needs, so it lands in tight. A model rated for up to 3/8 or 1/2 acre has room to spare.
Check that the quarter acre is your lawn and not your lot. Once the house, the drive and the beds come off, a quarter acre lot holds a smaller lawn, and the sizer may then point to a smaller mower. The lawn measuring guide works through a quarter acre lot.
