Robot vacuums for homes with pets: which fit and why
Botsize ran every robot vacuum in its dataset through the finder for a home with pets when any dock will do. The verdicts below follow your region, and each card shows the numbers behind its verdict.

Every verdict, with the reasons
Lowest US price first, then the larger threshold margin, then the lower robot. Models without a US price come after priced ones. Suction never decides the order: makers measure it in different ways.

Every check passes with room to spare, and nothing rules the model out.
This page ranks the 37 robot vacuums in the Botsize dataset that are sold in the US. Prices are the maker's list price, or the price its page showed that month (sometimes a sale price), with the month we read it.
Pet hair and the bin
Pets change one thing in the finder: every model whose dock does not empty the bin gets a note. Shed hair fills a small robot bin fast, and a self emptying dock moves it into a bag in the dock. The note never rules a model out, so this page allows any dock and lets you weigh the chore yourself.
Bags in the dataset hold 1.6 to 4 liters (1.7 to 4.2 US quarts) where the maker states it (20 of 42 records). A larger bag means fewer changes, at the cost of a taller dock. The comparison above lists the fitting robots whose dock bag holds 3 liters or more.
Suction figures do not tell you which robot handles hair best: makers measure them differently, and the suction guide explains why. Brush design plays a part too, and makers publish too little about it to compare. Check the gap under the furniture your pets sleep under: the robot cleans only what it fits beneath.
Questions about homes with pets
Does the finder rank robots for pets differently?
No. Pets add a note, never a different order. Fitting models still go by the lowest price in your region, then the larger threshold margin, then the lower robot.
Why is a robot without a self emptying dock still on the list?
Because the dock is a chore question, not a fit question. With a charging base you empty the bin by hand after runs; the note says so, and the decision stays yours.
Do these robots avoid pet mess on the floor?
Some makers describe obstacle avoidance with a camera, but no published figure measures it, so the finder does not check it. Read the model page and the maker's own description.
