Botsize ran every robot vacuum in its dataset through the finder for a two level home of 2,000 sq ft (186 m²) a level. The verdicts below follow your region, and each card shows the numbers behind its verdict.

Every verdict, with the reasons
Lowest US price first, then the larger threshold margin, then the lower robot. Models without a US price come after priced ones. Suction never decides the order: makers measure it in different ways.

Every check passes with room to spare, and nothing rules the model out.
This page ranks the 37 robot vacuums in the Botsize dataset that are sold in the US. Prices are the maker's list price, or the price its page showed that month (sometimes a sale price), with the month we read it.
Two levels of 2,000 sq ft
A large home tests the battery and the map, not the fit. Floor area never rules a model out in the finder. It adds a note: whether the robot covers the level on one charge, whether it carries on after recharging at the dock, or whether the maker publishes neither.
Coverage is one of the thinnest fields in the dataset: 4 of 42 records state an area per charge. 14 of 42 state instead that the robot returns to the dock, recharges and resumes where it stopped, and the comparison above counts those as covering the level. A robot with neither published may still manage; the finder says it does not know.
For two levels, the finder also checks how many maps the robot stores, where the maker says (11 of 42 records). One dock serves one level, so plan to carry the robot upstairs, or to buy a second robot. The dock stays put, and on the level without it you empty the bin and refill the water by hand. Thresholds still apply on every level, and the threshold guide shows how to measure yours.
Questions about large homes
Is a robot that recharges halfway a problem?
It takes longer, since it waits at the dock to charge, but it finishes the level. The finder treats recharge and resume as covering the area.
Does the robot need a map for each level?
To clean each level by room, yes. The finder adds a note when the maker states fewer stored maps than your levels, and says nothing when the maker does not publish the number.
Which floor area should go in the finder?
The floor area of the largest level, the most the robot has to clean between two visits to the dock.
